- Prepare patients for visits using appropriate rooming standards tools
- Administer injections and medications as prescribed by providers
- Assist providers with procedures, minor surgeries, and other exams
- Perform point-of-care testing, including but not limited to hearing, flu, urine, and strep tests
- Remove sutures and change dressings as necessary
- Provide clinical advice by phone or electronic correspondence
