Job Description
LOCATION: Lancaster, PA
HOURS: Part-Time, 28 hours/week, Day Shift – Monday through Friday schedule.
POSITION SUMMARY: The Audiologist will be trained and competent in basic audiology including audiologic assessments, acoustic immittance, otoacoustic emissions and will be able to diagnose and recommend aporopriate treatment options for patients with communication deficits. Has awareness and knowledge of specialized audiologic skill groups and collaborates with internal staff who specialize in these advanced assessments and treatment areas.

Job Description

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Diagnose and recommend appropriate treatment options for patients with communication deficits
- Maintains and adequate knowledgebase and excellence in clinical care while constantly adapting to the evolving healthcare environment
- Patient care accountabilities including evaluation, counseling and treating patients of varying ages and abilities. Includes maintenance of confidentiality and provision of exemplary customer care
- Safety accountabilities including use of best practice for audiologic patient care, compliance and safety education all service standards
- Collaborates and communicates professionally and effectively with staff and faculty within and outside of the department
- Adheres to all department and health system policies and compliance requisites
- Other duties as assigned
- Performs duties in accordance with Penn Medicine and entity values, policies, and procedures
- Other duties as assigned to support the unit, department, entity and health system organization
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ph.D. in Audilogy with completion of clinical fellowship year
- ASHA and/or AAA Certifications
