Essential Accountabilities

• Answers telephones, takes and relays messages promptly and answers inquiries.
• Greets patients and visitors, gives directions and answers questions.
• Communicates clearly.
• Collects data and records properly.
• Performs literature reviews.
• Compiles records as requested.
• Monitors supply usage and reorders if necessary.
• Supports and contributes to patient satisfaction goals.
• Works in collaboration with all members of the healthcare team.
  
  

Non-Patient Care

• Participates in Entity and Department wide initiatives for Patient /Employee safety
• Demonstrates an awareness of patient/employee safety when carrying out daily responsibilities of their position. Patient Care Providers
• Participates in Entity and Department wide initiatives for Patient /Employee safety
• Demonstrates an awareness of patient/employee safety when carrying out daily responsibilities of their position.
• Validation of annual competencies required for the position (see attached addendum)
