Summary:
- Provides quality participant care through implementing and supervising the physical exercise program in conjunction with the Cardiopulmonary Rehab nursing and respiratory staff. Demonstrates clinical knowledge in physical assessment, case management, and the process of healthcare management. Performs high quality Cardiology testing. Provides clerical support and supplements program with expert knowledge. Supports the mission, philosophy and objectives of The Chester County Hospital.
- Treatment of the Cardiopulmonary patient in the monitored exercise setting.
- Reviews education, medications, doctor’s communications and processing the chart needs and paperwork to meet standards.
- Provides Case Management.
- Provides Clerical support.
- Provides specialized cardiac services in Non Invasive Cardiology, like CV testing (holding and responding to Code pager, stress testing, holter monitors).
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (Required)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Required)
- Bachelor of Arts or Science (Required)
- Education Specialization: Health and Physical Education with a concentration in fitness and exercise Equivalent Experience:
- Master of Arts or Science
- Education Specialization: Cardiopulmonary Rehab Equivalent Experience:
