Job Title: Financial Analyst
Location: Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania- 3400 Spruce St
Hours: Full Time
Summary:
- The Financial Analyst is responsible for processing AP and purchasing requests, CER creation and month end close entry preparation with review and variance reporting and reconciliation. The Financial Analyst has a great understanding of the Capital and Operating budgets. The Financial Analyst mainly communicates with managers and vendors for purchasing.
- Preparation of month end closing entries and review of entries
- Ability to provide analysis and Reclass entries for closing
- Creation of Capital Expenditure Requests
- Ability to cover other financial analyst and coordinator workload in their absence
- Processing of RTP’s for capital and routine purchasing
- Assisting budget cycle process
- Processing of invoices
- Performs duties in accordance with Penn Medicine and entity values, policies, and procedures
- Other duties as assigned to support the unit, department, entity, and health system organization
Education or Equivalent Experience:
- Bachelor of Arts or Science (Required)
- 2 years in an accounting/finance field (Required)
