Position Description:
The Neuroscience Institute of Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health is seeking a full-time APP to join its high-end Neurology practice. With expertise in conditions from movement disorders, headache, dementia and stroke recovery, the Neuroscience Institute offers a full spectrum of neurological care in one location. As a forward-thinking practice, the Neuroscience Institute is the only center in the area with a rehabilitation program to offer the robotic ZeroG® Gait and Balance System. Our providers have access to collaborate with Penn Medicine and The Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania neurology providers and programs. Join a practice of nine physicians and three Advanced Practice Providers to care for patients with wide-ranging neurological concerns by working collaboratively with Neuropsychology, Pain Management, and Alzheimer’s & Memory Care. The position is outpatient only. We are excited to teach the neurological exam, as well as clinical expertise in diagnosis and management of a wide variety of neurological conditions to interested, motivated candidates.
Hours: Full-time (1.0 FTE) with hours primarily between 7:00am – 5:00pm, Monday – Friday. The schedule can be created as desired to total 36 clinical hours with time for chart review as well.

Minimum Requirements:
Physician Assistant
- Current licensure as a Physician Assistant by PA Board of Medicine
- Graduate of Accredited Physician Assistant training program
- Minimum one-year experience as a Physician Assistant is preferred
- Experience in Neurology preferred
- Valid Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner license and Certificate of Prescriptive Authority in Pennsylvania
- Certification by ANCC or other qualifying agency in area of specialty required
- Valid Pennsylvania licensure as a Registered Nurse
- Minimum one-year experience as a Nurse Practitioner is preferred
- Experience in Neurology preferred
