Job Summary
We are seeking a full-time board-certified or board-eligible family medicine physician to join our team at Manheim Family Medicine. This practice has two locations, the main practice and a smaller office located at Pleasant View Retirement Community.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ordering tests to determine the extent of illness or diagnose conditions, prescribing or administering treatment, therapy, medication, vaccinations, and other medical care to treat or prevent illness, disease, or injury.
The physician will also coordinate work with nurses, social workers, rehabilitation therapists, pharmacists, psychologists, and other healthcare providers.
Requirements
- Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree issued by the Accreditation Council on Medical Education
- Certification by the American Board of Family Medicine or eligibility for certification
- Successful completion of a Family Medicine Residency program
- Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
