Penn Residential, Inc. is seeking a District Program Manager to oversee the delivery of residential services for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities across several homes within one district of the agency. The primary responsibility of this position is to supervise and oversee the implementation of program goals and corporate policies and procedures. The District Program Manager position is both a salaried and supervisory position that reports to Program Director. Additionally, this position is required to work various shifts to provide appropriate supervision including weekends as necessary. Since this position is a supervisory and salaried position, there may be times that require this position to work more than 40 hours without further compensation. This position will also serve in the on-call rotation.
The District Program Manager is responsible for providing oversight to all program operations of their identified district including supervisor training/development, disciplinary process, budgets, payroll, review of schedules, as well as compliance of Chapters 6400 and 6100 regulations.
Key responsibilities of the District Program Manager include:
- Must be fluent in the Individual Support Plans (ISPs) of the consumers assigned and provide individual and group training as necessary.
- Provides supervision to the direct care staff and consumers.
- Completes all regulatory paperwork including monthly progress notes, quarterly reviews residential assessments
- Must be well versed in PA Chapters 6400 and 6100 regulations.
- Oversees consumer progress and adjusted goals/outcomes as necessary.
- Serves as consumer advocate.
- Must demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must always exhibit a professional attitude.
- Achieve independence, growth, and happiness through high quality, creative services for the people in the home
- Adhere to all state regulations as well as enforce all agency policies and procedures.
Job Requirements:
- Must possess strong knowledge of PA Chapter 6400 and 6100 regulations.
- Minimum 2 years of experience required (4 years preferred) supporting individuals with Intellectual Disabilities and/or Autism Spectrum Disorders.
- Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience required (4 years preferred) in a human service setting.
- Must have Act 33, Act 34, and Act 73 clearances, and a valid driver’s license.
Minimum Education and Experience:
- An Associate's degree from an accredited college or university.
Essential Responsibilities of a District Program Manager:
- Supervise all aspects of programs to ensure the health, safety, welfare, and personal development of individuals.
- Oversee service and planning for individuals. Ensuring that the outcomes in their individual support plans are implemented.
- Oversee the development residential staff members.
- Ensure that regular meetings are held relating to care of the individuals, including, but not limited to, monthly staff trainings at the home and treatment team meetings.
- Represent Penn Residential, Inc with individuals from the community, parents, and other human service agencies.
