Medical Provider (PA/NP)

• Currently Seeking Part-Time NPs and PAs with experience in Primary Care or Outpatient Addiction Medicine for an Integrated Practice in multiple locations- Family or Internal Medicine focus preferred, open to Psychiatry

Position Description:

Penn’s Rock Primary Care is excited to continue through 2024 with more patients and resources than ever before. We are currently seeking experienced CRNPs or PA-Cs who thrive on being self-starters and motivated leaders in a team environment. The Provider will provide Primary Care and Addiction Medicine services to adult patients in the office or virtual setting. Excellent opportunity for a motivated provider to be a community leader, directly improving the lives of their neighbors and patients.

The Provider will report to the Physician Owner. Provider should feel comfortable directly performing patient visits and collaborating with the Physician after the fact.

Key Qualities:

• Ability to thrive in the outpatient environment - Establishing rapport, managing chronic illness, and time management
• Strong leadership and collaborative tendencies - Utilize clinical staff to prevent burnout
• Interpret a variety of information regarding a patient’s health to allow for high-quality Medical Decision Making - Staff will assist patients and perform some documentation but Provider is responsible for clinical exam & recording findings
• Troubleshoot basic issues with computers while waiting for staff assistance
• HIGHLY VALUED BUT NOT REQUIRED: Medical fluency in Chinese and Vietnamese. In-person translator will be available at all times.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in outpatient family or internal medicine - Required 2 Years
• Previous experience in addiction medicine - Highly Valued, But Willing to Train
• Licensed CRNP or PA-C eligible to practice in Pennsylvania
• No restrictions for billing any insurance
