SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Situated on the West Shore of Harrisburg, the Penn State Health Andrews Patel – Hematology Oncology Camp Hill office is seeking a Phlebotomist to join the team! This office operates during week-day/daytime hours, so enjoy your weekend, evenings, and holidays at your leisure!
The phlebotomy duties of venipuncture, specimen handling, and supply ordering will be expected. There will be opportunities to assist the lab staff with other jobs which will keep your job interesting.
The desired Phlebotomist will be compassionate with patients as well as demonstrate accuracy and speed in completing assignments. The hired candidate will be working as part of a team, so teamwork and independent work are the constructs of this position.
The hired Phlebotomist may be required to work occasional days at PSH Andrews Patel Harrisburg located on Union Deposit Road.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Six (6) months phlebotomy experience required OR completion of an internship through a certified training program required.
- Bedside glucose and pediatric collection experience preferred.
- Phlebotomy Certification, general computer skills, CPR and additional language skills (i.e. Spanish) preferred.
