SUMMARY OF POSITION:

Responsible to provide routine operational guidance and workflow direction to MAs; to support the CHN/OM or Practice Site Manager in the first line corrective action, annual performance evaluations and staff scheduling in the daily operation of clinical staff. Serve as a resource for less experienced MA staff. Perform all duties of a Medical Assistant.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Graduate of an accredited Medical Assisting Program required.
  • Four (4) years of experience as a Medical Assistant in an outpatient practice or clinical specialty required.
  • Active status for Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) required BLS Certification required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATION(S):

  • Associates Degree preferred.
