ICU/ED Clinical Pharmacy Coordinator - VARIED SHIFT - Pharmacy Services Main

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

Join a dynamic and mission-driven team as an ICU/ED Clinical Pharmacy Coordinator at Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center, where your contributions directly impact patient care. In this role, you will participate in interdisciplinary rounds and provide direct patient care while mentoring the next generation of pharmacy professionals and engaging in opportunities for essential research projects. You’ll engage collaboratively with colleagues across various disciplines to implement innovative initiatives aimed at enhancing patient outcomes and fostering a culture of learning.

Your responsibilities will include overseeing the ED/ICU clinical team, including schedule development, time off approvals, and participation in the administrative call rotation. This role is a blend of approximately 60% direct patient care and 40% administrative duties. We require a commitment to staffing every sixth weekend in the ED (day or evening) and coverage for one major and one minor holiday per calendar year. We seek a positive, team-oriented individual with excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to excel in a fast-paced healthcare environment, and a genuine passion for continuous learning and professional development. Critical care and/or ED experience is highly desired. Your expertise is invaluable in our mission to improve patient care at Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or Pharm D required.
• Pennsylvania registration in Pharmacy or eligibility required.
• Three (3) years of related experience required.
