A busy design / build construction company located in Lancaster, PA is seeking a licensed Structural Engineer to join their team. Experience with wood frame construction is required. This person will play a pivotal role in leading the structural design and construction management efforts for projects. In addition to providing structural engineering expertise, you will be responsible for managing project budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure successful project delivery. Your responsibilities will include : Lead structural design efforts for new projects including sealed plans by working closely with 3rd party architects & MEP engineers; Collaborate with team members to value engineer projects; Assist in project budgets, including estimating, cost control, and value engineering initiatives; Assist in development by meeting with municipal staff and overseeing design; Develop and maintain project schedules, coordinating with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely project delivery; Providing guidance and mentorship to project teams, fostering a collaborative and results-driven work environment; Closely work with site-superintendent to help with budgeting and scheduling. Job Requirements : BS degree in Civil Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred; Professional Engineer (PE) license; Minimum of 5 years of experience in structural engineering and construction management, with a focus on wood construction projects; Proficiency in leading project management software such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or similar; Proficiency in leading structural design software such as STAAD Pro, RISA, or Revit. Salary range : $105K to $125K.
