Additive Manufacturing Technician
Penn United Technologies is looking for an Additive Manufacturing Technician to join our growing and innovative Additive Manufacturing team. This person will work closely with the engineers and project managers in reaching or exceeding team goals and targets in alignment with the company’s vision, values, and plans by assisting in all additive related functions. Responsibilities:
- Operate additive manufacturing printers and related equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints
- Follow maintenance procedures for additive manufacturing equipment
- Operate equipment in the post production cell including but not limited to machining and grinding
- Monitor daily all Additive Manufacturing activities and assist in coordinating orders through shop, including identifying and expediting orders that could “bottle neck” in a certain area.
- Keep an accurate inventory of all shop supplies
- Inspect and verify parts and processes
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Manufacturing related vocational-technical training preferred, not required
- High level of technical, mechanical, and mathematical ability
- Desire to learn and the ability to apply knowledge to on-the-job tasks
- Excellent organizational skills, self-motivated, able to effectively manage multiple tasks
- Good interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral), ability to relate to colleagues
- Committed to team development, and product and service excellence
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Shift: primarily daylight, however may be asked to work occasional non-daylight shift dependent upon production needs
