Administrative Assistant II
Penn United Technologies is looking for an Administrative Assistant II to join our Human Resources team. As an Administrative Assistant II, you would work as an integral part of the HR team to provide daily administrative and customer service support for HR, EH&S, and training activities in order to help achieve the team’s objectives. Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and ensure a high level of integrity and confidentiality of all employee records including “Protected Health Information”, “Protected Medical Information”, compensation records, and confidential company information
  • Responsible for accurate data entry of personnel changes in HRMS (Human Resource Management System)
  • Prepare orientation documents, materials, and photo ID badges
  • Administer the company wide service award program
  • Greet & assist internal and external visitors, following visitor registration policy
  • Assist with a variety of duties such as training room reservations, configure meeting rooms, and maintenance of meeting/training sign-in sheets
  • Maintain office supply inventory, prepare purchase orders for goods and services, order food and vending supplies, and provide a variety of general administrative support and special projects for HR, EH&S, and training teams
  • General filing and accurate record retention of all applicant and personnel documents in compliance with company policy
  • Follow-up calls with applicants as needed to support the recruiting process
  • Maintain Material Safety Data (MSD) information in database and hard copy binders
Qualifications:
  • Associates Degree in Human Resources or 2-3 years related experience preferred
  • Able to quickly learn and use required computer software effectively; prior experience with an HRMS or ATS system preferred
  • Excellent organizational skills, self-motivated
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral), ability to relate to colleagues
  • Able to follow directions, complete tasks
  • Service attitude toward co-workers and partners
  • Committed to self-development, and service excellence
  • Daylight shift
  • Must be able to lift 25 lbs
  • High school diploma or GED required
