Chemistry Intern

Penn United Technologies, Inc. is now accepting applications for a seasonal summer Chemistry Intern to work in our Electroplating Lab for the 2025 summer. We are hiring for a college student, currently majoring in Chemistry looking to enhance their classroom learning through this hands-on chemistry lab summer internship.

Responsibilities

• Preform titrations
• Assist with chemical mixtures and testing
• Assist with data entry
• Assist with running lab equipment such as ICP- (Inductively Coupled Plasma), UV-VIS (Ultraviolet Light Spectrophotometer)
• Report to work on-time with a positive attitude and ready to learn and accomplish tasks
• Have a true desire and a focus toward your job
• Ask relevant questions and ask for help with processes or tasks not understood. Communicate with your trainer. Be open and honest in communications
• Implement and follow all safety and quality plans in accordance with company programs and policies
  
  

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Candidates must be currently enrolled in college, with a major in Chemistry
• Students must be in good academic standing at their school
• Strong understanding and experience in conducting titrations required
