Maintenance Technician
Penn United Technologies, Inc. is currently seeking a motivated full-time Maintenance Technician to join our maintenance team. This person will be responsible for learning to perform the installation, maintenance, repair and inspection on various equipment and/or systems within all company buildings.
We are a leader in our industry, providing the highest quality precision manufactured solutions for a variety of products and industries for over 53 years. The maintenance technician plays a vital role in keeping our equipment operating safely and efficiently.
Duties and Responsibilities of the Maintenance Technician:
- Working under the guidance of a Maintenance Specialist, the Maintenance Technician will learn to :
* Perform routine preventative maintenance on equipment and/or facility
systems, ensuring proper documentation and on-time completion
* Repair and maintain equipment and/or physical structure of the
facilities
* Install and relocate precision machining equipment
* Troubleshoot and perform electrical and mechanical repairs or rebuild
machine components
* Set up and operate machines to verify conformance of machined parts
to specifications - Fabricate needed parts for repairs
- Paint equipment and/or facilities when necessary
- Assist in building new facilities
- Inspect all work when completed
- Adjust work schedule as needed for maintenance or repairs
- Perform all job functions within the guidelines of both company and OSHA regulations and policies
Qualifications
Qualifications for the Maintenance Technician:

Education /Experience: |
- Required: High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Desired: Technical training in skills required to perform maintenance duties
- Desired: Proper licensing and certifications as necessary.
