Penn United Technologies. is now accepting applications for a seasonal Intern to work in our Quality department. We are looking for a college student, preferably majoring in Metrology or related degree who is looking to enhance their classroom learning through this hands-on internship experience.
Responsibilities
- Assist technicians with dimensional inspections for product that has been validated
- Documentational and dimensional data entry
- Work daily to assist members of the Quality team
- Perform order entry of test results and other clerical responsibilities
- Report to work on-time with a positive attitude and ready to learn and accomplish tasks
- Have a true desire and a focus toward your job
- Ask relevant questions and ask for help with processes or tasks not understood
- Implement and follow all safety and quality plans in accordance with company programs and policies.
Qualifications:
- Must be currently enrolled in college, preferably in Metrology or related major
- Experience with precision measurement tools preferred
- Must be in good academic standing at their school
- Must possess strong attention to detail
- Shift: This is a seasonal, daylight position, with the ability to flex around college class schedule
- Interns are eligible to participate in our Monthly Profit-Sharing program.
