About The Role
We are seeking a motivated and growth-oriented Network Administrator to join our team at the Eagle Service Center. This role is ideal for an entry-level candidate eager to develop their skills while supporting and maintaining our network infrastructure. You will work closely with a team of network engineers, IT teams, service desk staff, and external vendors to ensure smooth network operations and uptime.

About The Role
We are seeking a motivated and growth-oriented Network Administrator to join our team at the Eagle Service Center. This role is ideal for an entry-level candidate eager to develop their skills while supporting and maintaining our network infrastructure. You will work closely with a team of network engineers, IT teams, service desk staff, and external vendors to ensure smooth network operations and uptime.
Key Responsibilities
- Provisioning & Equipment Management
- Assist with acquiring, configuring, and deploying network equipment.
- Work towards handling provisioning independently to support project-focused initiatives.
- Technical Support & Ticket Management
- Respond to and resolve network-related support tickets efficiently.
- Assist in educating the service desk on common issues to improve first-level resolution rates.
- Network Monitoring & Outage Management
- Monitor network circuits and respond to outages.
- Open and manage ISP support tickets, coordinating troubleshooting and resolution efforts.
- Maintenance & Patching
- Support regular patching and maintenance of network infrastructure.
- Assist with ring group patching efforts across the organization’s footprint.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, firewalls).
- Familiarity with network hardware (switches, routers, access points) is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to learn quickly.
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
- Highly organized with a strong emphasis on documentation and record-keeping.
- Previous IT support or help desk experience is beneficial but not required.
- CompTIA Network certification is preferred. If not already obtained, the candidate must achieve certification within 6 months to 1 year of joining the team.
