SUMMER SCHOOL TEACHING POSITIONS
POSITION: ENRICHMENT CAMPS
LOCATION: PENNCREST HIGH SCHOOL
DATES: JULY 7, 2025 – JULY 25, 2025
COMPENSATION: 3.5 HRS PER DAY AT $42.00 HOURLY RATE
6.5 HRS PER DAY AT $42.00 HOURLY RATE
TIMES: 8:45AM – 12:15AM OR 11:45AM – 3:15PM
8:45 AM – 3:15 PM
QUALIFICATIONS: Active and valid Pennsylvania certifications as required per job classifications.
JOB DESCRIPTION: Plan and implement interactive, project-based lessons that enrich students’ knowledge in subject area. Provide hands-on activities, experiments, and group projects to enhance learning. Foster an engaging and inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and active participation. Utilize a variety of instructional strategies to accommodate different learning styles and abilities. Supervise students to ensure a safe, supportive, and positive learning environment.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and talk or hear and sometimes walk and sit. Occasionally the employee will bend or twist the neck more than the average person. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may occasionally push or lift up to 50 lbs., such as boxes of books. The employee is directly responsible for the safety, well-being, and work output of students.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision such as reading handwritten or typed material, and the ability to adjust focus. The position requires the individual to meet multiple demands from several people and interact with the public and other staff. Subject to indoor work environment the majority of the time. The noise level in the work environment is moderate to loud.
