POSITION: EXTENDED SCHOOL YEAR (ESY) PROGRAM
TEACHING POSITIONS
LOCATION: PENNCREST HIGH SCHOOL
COMPENSATION: $42.00 PER HOUR
SET-UP DATE: Tuesday, July 1, 2025, for 3 hours (9:00 AM to 12:00 PM)
DATES: Monday through Thursday starting Monday, July 7, 2025, through Thursday, July 31, 2025
HOURS: 8:45 AM – 12:45 PM
QUALIFICATIONS: Active and valid Pennsylvania certification as required per job classification.
JOB DESCRIPTION: Follow and implement IEPs and PBSP. Collect data on IEP goal areas.
Collaborate with related service providers. Plan and implement lesson plans. Adapt instruction to meet students' diverse learning needs. Modify lessons or assignments based on students’ skill levels and progress. Monitor student progress and provide necessary interventions. Supervise students to ensure a safe, supportive, and positive learning environment.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and talk or hear and sometimes walk and sit. Occasionally the employee will bend or twist the neck more than the average person. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may occasionally push or lift up to 50 lbs., such as boxes of books. The employee is directly responsible for the safety, well-being, and work output of students.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision such as reading handwritten or typed material, and the ability to adjust focus. The position requires the individual to meet multiple demands from several people and interact with the public and other staff. Subject to indoor work environment the majority of the time. The noise level in the work environment is moderate to loud.
