***This position includes a $1,000 signing bonus*** We are looking for a Director of Human Resources to lead the HR initiatives and ensure compliance on all HR policies and protocols.
Penndel Mental Health Center is a non-profit community based mental health agency located in Langhorne. Located in Langhorne, PA
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Facilitate and coordinate all hiring, evaluations, and termination processes, including the advertising and interviewing processes with the input and collaboration of the Chief Executive Officer, Associate Executive Directors and supervisory teams.
* Oversee and review, as necessary, all personnel policies, and in consultation with appropriate staff and recommend revisions and updates to the Chief Executive Officer
* Orient new employees to all pertinent PMHC policies and procedures, including, but not limited to: summary of benefits, COBRA rights, statement of confidentiality, and state regulations, civil rights compliance/employee awareness, personnel handbook, W-4 forms, employment applications, etc. Facilitate and expedite the completion and disposition of all above-stated forms
* Assist in resolution of employee concerns
* Investigate any EEOC claims and partner with CEO to report findings
* Secure all employee personnel files; updating all files with pertinent information
* Coordinate all employee benefits, including all insurances, claims processing, enrollments, terminations, and all other updates/changes
* Primary role in insurance renewal negotiations and implementation of all insurance benefit plans
* Investigate and report worker’s compensation claims
* Represent agency in any and all unemployment claims and/or hearings
* Retirement plan administrator responsible for filing agency 5500
* Coordination, planning and execution of all employee events
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in human resources or management
- 5 years' of professional HR experience in the human services field is preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work
Salary : $80,000 - $90,000
