- Pricing and Revenue Strategy Development:
- Design, implement, and optimize data-driven pricing models aligned with market trends and customer value delivered by Penn.
- Conduct scenario planning and sensitivity analyses to assess pricing impacts and maximize profitability.
- Collaborate with business sales, marketing, and finance teams to ensure pricing strategies align with business goals.
- Determine what tools and processes are needed long-term to manage annual pricing and ad-hoc pricing requests.
- Work with IT to implement automation of simple pricing requests in order to deliver pricing to customers within one day.
- Complexity Management:
- Analyze products and margins to optimize complexity and ensure Penn is maximizing value based on product volumes and part complexity.
- In collaboration with the businesses, use strategic pricing and order quantities to maximize sales and margin while also considering manufacturing capacity.
- Commercial Projects / Data Analysis:
- Support commercial business decision making through the development of business cases for key decisions, adding a financial element to strategic decisions.
- Support cross-functional initiatives, potentially including M&A activities, divestitures, and business integrations, to achieve synergy targets and drive operational efficiencies.
- Collaborate with sales management to evolve our sales incentive plans and how we tie sales activities to long-term corporate results.
- Working with the market analysis teams and the businesses, leverage advanced analytics tools to monitor commercial key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide actionable insights to senior leadership.
- Strategic Leadership and Collaboration:
- Partner with global and regional teams across finance, operations, and business development to drive alignment on strategic priorities.
- Work closely with IT on the availability and organization of data to support decision making processes.
- Train and mentor on combining analysis with commercial initiatives.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership, providing innovative solutions to complex business challenges.

Requirements
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
- Extensive experience in global leadership roles, preferably within industrial manufacturing.
- Experience in multiple industrial end markets strongly preferred (general industrial, automotive, aerospace, electronics, datacom/telecom, etc.).
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related field; MBA strongly preferred.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in finance, pricing, business strategy, or commercial project management, with a focus on global operations.
- Proven expertise in pricing, planning, and strategic leadership across regions.
- Strong command of financial systems and advanced analytics tools, and how those tools interact with IT.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience influencing C-suite executives.
- Demonstrated success in managing and mentoring high-performing teams in a matrixed organization.
- Proven expertise in M&A and divestitures.
- Experience with complexity tools and analysis.
