Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide assistance in locating products.
- Utilize retail math skills to manage stock levels and assist with inventory management.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently to process transactions accurately.
- Communicate product features and benefits to customers to facilitate informed purchasing decisions.
- Engage in upselling techniques to enhance customer experience and increase sales.
- Supervise stock replenishment and ensure shelves are well-stocked and organized.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor, including displays and promotional materials.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues in a professional manner.
- Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when answering customer calls or inquiries.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred but not required.
- Strong basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory management.
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
- Experience with supervising or leading teams is a plus.
- Familiarity with POS systems is advantageous.
