Die Setter

Overview

The Die Setter prepares and sets up tooling from extrusion schedule to ensure maximum efficiency and productivity.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Ensures enough dies are in the die ovens at each press based upon production schedule
• Transfers die to and from inventory system
• Recycles failed dies quickly
• Places dies in caustic solution to clean them of aluminum residue
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Education 

• High school diploma or equivalent. 

Experience 

• Experience in manufacturing environment.
