Responsibilities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Set saw cut lengths
- Lift extrusions and place them on table to cut
- Perform all required Quality checks
- Visually inspect metal as it is transferred to ensure it meets in-house quality standards
- Pack metal according to customer requirements
- Inspect cut length looking for burrs, scratches, chips, gouges, dents, bubbles, etc.
- Blow off saw chips between each row
- Maintain a neat and orderly work area
- May be asked to work in the packing department when Fabrication is not needed
- Perform other duties as assigned
Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Education
- Desired: High School Diploma and/or Technical or Trade Degree or Certificate
- None
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to lift and move heavy materials and equipment
- Consistently exhibits a positive, respectful attitude towards co-workers and customers
- Must be able to pass pre-employment physical and drug screen
- Must be eligible to work in the United States, visa sponsorships are not available
