Pennfield Middle School Spanish Teacher
QUALIFICATIONS :
- Valid Michigan teaching certificate with Spanish Endorsement.
- Knowledge and experience in teaching Spanish, preferably at a secondary level.
- Experience with Spanish speaking communities / cultures.
- Knowledge of and able to apply best instructional practices
- Strong personal integrity and professional ethics
- Strong classroom management and organizational skills
- Possess good communication skills
- Positive behavioral support experience preferred

Ability to plan and coordinate with general education teachersAbility to maintain accurate records and meet multiple deadlinesA desire to continue to grow as a professionalAbility / experience leading team meetingsUnderstands diversity of student learning styles and can skillfully prepare and apply differentiated learning experiencesExperience working with students of varying academic abilitiesDemonstrates ability to use data to drive instructional decisionsComputer literate with a proven proficiency to effectively apply and integrate technology to support meaningful teaching and successful student learningExperience / training in Restorative Practices and Trauma Informed Care is preferredAbility to develop / sustain positive working relationships with students, staff, and the school communityMotivates students and influences their behaviorCreates and executes clear, logical instructional plans collaboratively that produce strong results in student learningMaintains and communicates standards of pupil behavior and classroom management expectations for the purpose of providing a safe and secure learning environmentCreates and thrives in a professional environment that is one of mutual respect, teamwork, and accountabilityMaintain the drive for results by demonstrating persistence, directness, and the ability to monitor and plan aheadUnderstands and implements Board of Education Policy, Administrative Guidelines, and organizational practices for the purpose of consistency and complianceSALARY : Based on Teacher Contract and Salary Schedule
