Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding and personalized customer service as a front-line representative of our client’s organizations
- Conduct patrol rounds and inspections of the building and its equipment
- Secure all entry points during specific time period
- Monitor CCTV and card access systems
- Respond to alarms by investigating and assessing the situation
- Ensure that safety and emergency protocols are completed in response to Fire Alarms and other Site Emergencies
- Provide assistance to people in need
- Submit electronic reporting of daily surveillance activity and important occurrences
- Operate and maintain an organized front desk/ gatehouse environment (if the sire requires it)
- Provide accurate and detailed administrational work
- Enforce of property rules in order to maintain the security and safety of our clients and their assets
- Maintain safe working environment and follow the facilities health and safety procedures
- Complete additional duties as assigned
The Ideal candidate will possess:
- Valid D Security Guard License issued by the state of Florida (unarmed officer)
- High School diploma or GED is required
- Must possess a valid and active Drivers License if assigned to drive a motor vehicle to provide Security Guard services
- Exceptional customer service skills (Hospitality sector experience is always an asset)
- Team building mentality and the ability to inspire and lead within a team
- Outgoing personality who enjoys interacting with people on a professional level
- Recognized certifications or experience is an advantage
- Ability to work effectively and handle multiple situations simultaneously while providing quality service
- Proficiency in conflict resolution and Ability to de-escalate situations effectively.
- Exceptional report writing and communication skills
- Effective access control capabilities
- Computer literacy for digitalized tasks
