What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lawn Maintenance Crew Leader position at Penning landscape?
This position is responsible for directing 1-2 crew members in daily operations including production, quality control, training, punctuality and safety. Candidates must also have strong organization skills, ability to complete appropriate paperwork, and possess good leadership and communication skills. The employee will provide quality service that meets or exceeds our customers’ and management’s expectations. The employee will show attention to detail and effectively communicate with subordinates, peers and his/her supervisor. All employees will possess a friendly, customer service minded attitude and will conduct themselves in a professional manor.
Summary: Landscape maintenance of both residential and commercial properties. Primarily mowing residential & commercial yards.

Job Duties: Mowing, trimming, edging and blowing as well as supervising, training and assisting crew members
- General landscape maintenance and light landscaping
- Operate vehicles and equipment in a safe, responsible and efficient manner fall recommend operating procedures.
- Be available for communication at all times during a shift and before/after shifts
- Proactively address questions or concerns with the clients. Communicate customer’s questions immediately with the owner.
- Document and report any issues at properties
- Comply with all company policies and procedures
- Work in accordance with all local health and safety laws and regulations
Requirements Valid Drivers license and safe driving record-submit a driving record Ability to follow safe working procedures

- Ability to lift 60 lbs. consistently throughout the day.
- High attention to detail
- Available to work a varied schedule (including Saturdays) in all adverse weather conditions.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
