We are looking for an individual with strong Springbrook accounting skills specifically.
Position Objective: Assist with daily balancing and depositing of all County money receipted in from each department as directed by the Treasurer. Assists with reconciling multi-million dollar investments, market accounts, accounts receivable, and County check book with tight deadlines.Essential Functions:

- Opening and/or closing duties including maintaining cash distribution balances to individual Tax & Title processors
- Assists in balancing daily motor vehicle receipts and payments for close of day
- Process electronic deposits throughout the day
- Assists in maintaining various databases, records and files as needed
- Provide assistance and fill in coverage for Tax & Title positions as needed
- Assist with payroll entry and keeping office statistic counts
- Scan documents of critical and sensitive information while maintaining confidentiality
- Files distress warrants on NSF checks, processes refunds for motor vehicle transactions, works with accounts payable for office expenses,
- Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor
- Maintain compliance with all County policies and procedures
- High School Diploma or GED
- One to two years of experience as Tax and Title Assistant
- Microsoft Office programs and PDF Software knowledge
- Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and quantitative productivity standards.
- Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state and local standards.
- This position frequently remains stationary for long periods of time and needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
- Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery such as a calculator, copy machine and printer.
- Must be able to move up to 20 pounds unassisted, and move 40 pounds with assistance.
- Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively on telephone, in-person and in writing.
- Most work is performed indoors in an office where noise and interruptions often occur
- Overtime or flex hours may be mandatory to meet project deadlines
