What are the responsibilities and job description for the Paramedic/ Licensed Practical Nurse position at Pennington County?
The Pennington County Sheriff's Office currently has multiple vacancies on our Medical team. If you are interested in serving a diverse population of inmates and detainees, this position is for you. This is an excellent opportunity for a Paramedic, LPN or RN looking for a variety of work assignments, a fast-paced environment and the autonomy to utilize a wide array of skills.
The Pennington County Sheriff’s Office offers a comprehensive benefit package, including Health, Dental, Vision and South Dakota Retirement. Employees will receive paid time off, to include 2 weeks of vacation per year, paid sick leave and Holiday hours.
Pay is commensurate with certification level.
The schedule for this opening is Monday-Friday, 12:30PM-9:00PM.Education: Nursing degree from an accredited nursing school, or SD paramedic Certification
License: South Dakota LPN or RN License preferred; applicants will be accepted if anticipated graduation is May 2023 and NCLEX has not been completed
