What are the responsibilities and job description for the Graduate EHS Professional (Industrial Hygienist / Environmental Scientist) position at Pennoni?
Pennoni is hiring for an upwardly-mobile Graduate Industrial Hygienist / Environmental Scientist to join our growing EHS (Environmental, Health, & Safety) team on a full-time, direct basis while based at our office in New York, NY.
Primary Responsibilities :
- Contribute to a variety of EHS projects : Phase I Environmental Site Assessments [ESA's], asbestos surveys, Lead-Based Paint [LBP] surveys, mold assessments, Indoor Air Quality [IAQ] assessments, etc.
- Assist with inspections, remediation oversight, laboratory data interpretation, post-remediation clearances, and preparation of inspection & remediation oversight reports.
- Work independently on assigned projects in NYC as well as the surrounding areas (including Northern NJ); these projects occasionally require working during evenings, weekends, and / or extended stay travel.
- Additional duties may be assigned, as needed.
Basic Requirements :
This person will be expected to work regularly in the field and in the office, so they will be required to possess a Valid Driver's License as well as Reliable Transportation.
Preferred Qualifications :
TARGET SALARY RANGE : $55,000 - $70,000 (per year)
