We are hiring for an experienced CAD Technician to join our team on a full-time, direct basis as a Utility Designer at our office in Columbia, MD. This person will be expected to contribute primarily to our utility projects by performing critical design & drafting functions; this involves supporting major clients such as BGE and Verizon!
Primary Responsibilities :
- Perform design / CAD drafting work to assist with Engineering projects.
- Assist with obtaining relevant field data & measurements.
- Utilize relevant data when creating / adjusting workable construction blueprints.
- Ensure scheduling and productivity objectives are achieved.
- Perform field work on an as-needed basis; this person will be expected to work indoors as well as outdoors.
- Additional duties may be assigned, as needed.
Basic Requirements :
This person may be expected to work in the field, as-needed, so they will be required to possess a Valid Driver's License and Reliable Transportation. Additionally, this role will require passing a Background Check and Drug Test without issue.
Preferred Qualifications :
TARGET PAY RANGE : $23 - $30 (per hour).
