Job Summary
As a Graduate Construction Engineer, you will work at construction sites as a Quality Assurance Representative, observing, documenting, and reporting on construction work while performing materials testing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect construction and materials for compliance with drawings and specifications.
- Field test plastic concrete, grout, mortar, block, fireproofing, soils, non-destructive weld testing, and high-strength bolting installation.
- Communicate and coordinate with engineers, contractors, and clients.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or a related field of study. Recent or upcoming graduates are encouraged to apply. A reliable transportation and NJ DCA Special Inspector certification (e.g., Structural Steel, Masonry, Concrete, etc.) are also required.
