POSITION: Instructional Support Teacher - Middle School
LOCATION: South Middle School
AVAILABLE: 2025-2026 School Year
COMPENSATION: Salary in accordance with the PEA contract.
HOURS: 7:45 AM - 3:15 PM
DESCRIPTION:
The Instructional Support Teacher collaborates with classroom teachers to develop adaptive strategies and approaches that help at-risk students succeed in a regular education setting. This role also involves working directly with students to support their academic and executive functioning skills.
Additionally, the Instructional Support Teacher co-leads the building-level child study support team and plays a key role in the PSSA/Keystone exam building-level planning team. Level II Certification preferred.
REQUIREMENTS:
Candidates must possess a current PA Instructional or Educational Specialist II Certification and the following clearances/documents:
- PA Child Abuse Clearance (Act 151)
- PA State Police Clearance (Act 34)
- FBI Fingerprint Clearances (Act 114)
- PDE 6004 Form (Act 24)
- Sexual Misconduct/Abuse Disclosure Form (Act 168)
- School Personnel Health Form (Physical and TB test)
