Title: Skilled Maintenance - HVAC Technician
Reports to: Director of Operations
Available: ASAP (HOURS: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM)
Terms of Employment: hourly rate in accordance with PESPA
Collective Bargaining Agreement. Salary $33.00 per hour per the PESPA Collective Bargaining Agreement. 60-day probationary period for benefits and performance.
Description:
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
1. Trade school diploma or equivalent and five years experience in a similar position.
2. Posession of an EPA Section 608 - Universal Technician Certification
3. Knowledge and ability to troubleshoot and repair the following: HVAC systems; including boilers, pumps, air handlers, rooftop units and exhaust fans.
4. Familiar with building codes.
5. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
6. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools and test equipment.
7. Good communication and organizational skills.
PRINCIPAL FUNCTION
The Skilled Maintenance HVAC Technician will have extensive experience in the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems. This role requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to safety and efficiency.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Valid Pennsylvania Driver's License and a good driving record.

- FBI Fingerprint Clearance (Act 114)
- School Personnel Health Form (Physical and TB test)
- PDE 6004 Form (Act 24)
- Sexual Misconduct/Abuse Disclosure Release Form(s) (Act 168)
