POSITION : Summer Art Camp (Ages 5-14) Instructor
PAFA's Art Camp offers enriching, creative experiences for campers in PAFA's galleries and studios. Week-long fun and imaginative sessions give students a chance to learn new skills, create artwork and make new friends. Sessions are designed to appeal to all levels and interests of young artists, ages 5-14.

PAFA is seeking enthusiastic art educators to serve as Camp Instructors for our annual Summer Art Camp. The 2025 PAFA Summer Camp will run from June 23rd-August 8th, 2025. Camp Instructors are hired to teach for the entire 7-week program and are responsible for creating a 7-week curriculum with each week focusing on a different medium, project, and theme. The goal of the curriculum is to be equitable and fun for students, ensuring they have an engaging and successful experience!
Working with Minors
Background checks, including Child Abuse Clearances and FBI Clearances, are required for all PAFA staff working with minors, as well as the completion of mandatory virtual staff training sessions through Vector Solutions. Applicants with valid Child Abuse History Clearances will have priority. Additional background checks may be required and will be administered by PAFA.
Requirements :
Qualified candidates should have a Bachelor's degree, and have proven experience in art teaching, classroom management, and the ability to work with children of all ages and backgrounds. Artistic background and experience in teaching art is highly preferred. If you are an artist, please submit a teaching focused resume rather than an artist focused resume.
