What are the responsibilities and job description for the Regional Industry Relations Officer (Allentown Area) position at Pennsylvania College of Technology?
This position's primary responsibilities will include comprehensive business and relationship development through identification and cultivation strategies, leading to mutually beneficial partnerships between industry and the College. The primary territory for this position will be in Lehigh Valley, PA; with approximately 10% of time spent on campus in Williamsport. Some remote work is necessary. This position will have shared supervision with the Senior Vice President for College Relations and the Vice President for Workforce Development. This position will be based in Allentown, Pennsylvania.

Minimum Education And Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Communications, Political Science or related discipline.
- Three (3) years of successful experience in sales, corporate relations, constituent services, business, or higher education development.
- Ability to successfully develop business relationships, partnerships, etc.
- Ability to perform a wide variety of tasks simultaneously with frequent interruptions.
- Ability to work with diverse constituencies in a professional manner.
- Proficiency in English communication skills (verbal and written).
- Fluency or proficiency in multiple languages is highly desirable.
- Must possess well developed organizational skills.
- Proficiency with computers and requisite software packages. Must become proficient in the use of constituent database.
- Possession of a valid driver's license.
- Interpersonal skills are necessary to deal effectively and courteously with staff, faculty, students, alumni and the public.
