Overview
Using their manufacturing industry expertise, this person will execute substantial activities related to business development, sales, and relationship management to grow enrollment in workforce training programs and apprenticeships within the advanced manufacturing sector. This includes comprehensive business development through the identification, cultivation, and conversion of manufacturing companies into training and apprenticeship partnerships with the College.Qualifications
EDUCATION
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Manufacturing, Workforce Development (WD), or related field. Required
EXPERIENCE
- Two (2) - Three (3) years of Sales experience in manufacturing, workforce development, or related field. Required
- Experience in manufacturing industry operations or workforce development Required
- Experience with Customer relationship management (CRM) systems and sales management tools Preferred
- Experience in technical or vocational education sales Preferred
- Experience with apprenticeship programs Preferred
ABILITIES AND SKILLS
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. Required
- Strong understanding of manufacturing operations and workforce challenges. Required
- Superior written and oral communication skills. Required
- Excellence in consultative selling and relationship building. Required
- Ability to work effectively with educational institutions as well as government agencies. Required
- Ability to build consensus among partners and facilitate program activities. Required
- Commitment to customer service, results orientation, teamwork and collaboration. Required
- Proficient in CRM systems and sales management tools. Required
- Ability to prepare and deliver presentations to a variety of audiences. Required
- Functional ability with computers and requisite software packages used in the office, e.g., Word, Excel, Access, etc. Required

- Ability to understand and articulate technical training concepts. Required
- Ability to be responsive in a dynamic environment with emerging opportunities. Required
