Job Overview:
PENNEP is seeking a talented and dedicated Communications Specialist to join our client’s dynamic team. Client is seeking a highly skilled Communications Specialist with 5-7 years of experience to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in communication strategies, project management, and event planning. This role will require a combination of creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously. Experience with Mailchimp and Outlook is essential. This is a Hybrid role
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute effective internal and external communication strategies that align with organizational goals.
- Manage and maintain email campaigns through platforms like Mailchimp, ensuring effective audience segmentation, content development, and performance tracking.
- Coordinate and support the planning, execution, and evaluation of events (both virtual and in-person) including conferences, meetings, and webinars.
- Collaborate with team members and key stakeholders to craft clear and engaging messaging for various communication channels, including newsletters, social media, and internal announcements.
- Oversee the development and distribution of marketing materials, ensuring they adhere to brand guidelines and are delivered on time.
- Handle day-to-day communication needs, including responding to inquiries, drafting correspondence, and managing communications schedules.
- Utilize Outlook for scheduling, email management, and coordination across teams to ensure projects and events run smoothly.
- Assist in maintaining and updating the company’s communication database.
Required Skills and Experience:
- 5-7 years of proven experience in communications, public relations, or related roles.
- Basic project management and event planning skills, with the ability to coordinate tasks and manage timelines efficiently.
- Proficiency in Mailchimp for managing and analyzing email campaigns.
- Advanced knowledge of Outlook for scheduling and communication management.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to tailor content to different audiences.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field.
