Key Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance to clients in their homes, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Perform light housekeeping duties and assist with meal preparation and shopping
- Offer companionship and supervision to enhance the quality of life for clients
- Communicate effectively with the Client Care Manager regarding care direction, client updates, and scheduling concerns
- Proficient in assisting clients with personal hygiene and daily living activities
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to follow detailed care plans and instructions with precision
- Compassionate demeanor and a commitment to providing high-quality care
- Aged 18 years or older
- Must possess a valid CNA license or a 75-hour HHA certificate, unless offering care to a family member
- Demonstrated experience in providing personal care and companionship to adults
- Completion of the DMHHSS written exam and orientation program is mandatory
- Successful passing of background checks and drug tests in accordance with state regulations
