Key Responsibilities
- Assess and manage students’ healthcare needs
- Provide one-on-one care for children in schools
- Assist students with medical conditions during their transport to and from school
- Serve as substitute school nurses when necessary
- Accompany students on field trips, sports events, and dances
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Current PA LPN or RN licensure
- Strong communication and organizational abilities
- Capability to work independently and as part of a team
- CPR certification
- Valid nursing license (LPN or RN)
- Background checks (including PA Criminal, FBI Fingerprints & PA Child Abuse)
- PPD or chest X-ray for TB screening results
- References upon request
