Key Responsibilities
- Assess and address the healthcare needs of students
- Collaborate with educational staff and families to promote student health
- Provide individualized care for children with medical conditions, including during transport to and from school
- Serve as a substitute school nurse as needed
- Accompany students on field trips, athletic events, and other school activities
- Engage in ongoing communication with other healthcare providers for integrated care
- Current Pennsylvania LPN or RN nursing license
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Capacity to work autonomously
- CPR certification
- PPD or Chest X-ray for TB screening results
- A valid nursing degree from an accredited institution
- Background checks (including PA Criminal, FBI Fingerprints, and PA Child Abuse) will be required
