Job Title: Landscape Foreman/Laborer

Job Description:
We are looking for a reliable and dedicated Landscape Foreman/Laborer to join our team. This individual will be responsible for performing a variety of outdoor tasks related to mowing, landscaping, and general grounds maintenance. The ideal candidate will possess an eye for detail, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to maintaining clean, safe, and pleasing outdoor spaces for our valued clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform regular mowing, trimming, and edging of lawns and green spaces to ensure neat and attractive landscapes.
• Maintain landscaping elements, including planting, weeding, mulching, and pruning shrubs, trees, and plants.
• Operate a variety of landscaping equipment such as lawnmowers, weed whackers, blowers, and other tools as needed.
• Operating knowledge of equipment such as skidsteers, wheel-loaders, and excavators is preferred.
• Ensure that all grounds and landscaped areas are well-maintained and free from debris, providing a pristine appearance.
• Assist with the installation of landscaping features like flower beds, rock gardens, and decorative elements.
• Follow safety protocols while operating equipment and handling materials.
• Perform seasonal tasks such as leaf removal, snow removal (if applicable), and preparation of landscapes for changing weather conditions.
• Assist with general maintenance and upkeep of facilities as needed.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in landscaping, groundskeeping, or a similar field is preferred.
• Ability to safely and efficiently operate landscaping equipment.
• Knowledge of landscaping plants, tools, and techniques is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and an eye for landscaping design.
• Ability to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
• Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting, bending, and standing for long periods.
• A valid driver’s license is preferred.
