Summary :
The Organizational Development Consultant within Penn Medicine Academy's within Penn Medicine Academy's change management practice will work to strengthen the organizational health of Penn Medicine by partnering with leaders and teams to deliver specialized consulting services in a highly complex academic medicine environment. This role possesses a mix of expertise in change management, high-performance team development, performance improvement, and strategic planning.
The role reports to the Director of Organizational Development and Change Management and will be part of a high-performance team of organizational development and change management consultants. This individual will formulate strategic approaches and deliver workplans for a diverse range of complex problems. This role will deploy an array of tools and techniques used within our consulting practice. This individual must be comfortable and skilled in figuring out ambiguous situations and can flex workplans in response to challenges or shifting circumstances.
The Organizational Development Consultant will work across entities, departments, and functions to improve ways of working and build new efficiencies. They will partner with clinical and administrative leaders, including the Chief Medical Officers, Chief Quality and Safety Officers, Chief Nursing Officers, Chief Human Resources Officers, Department Chairs, and other leaders throughout Penn Medicine to support the design, development, implementation, and measurement of high-priority health system initiatives. This consultant should have a proven track record of impactful consulting deliverables, the interpersonal savviness to effectively manage client engagements, and collaboration and communications skills.
