Summary
We are seeking part-time ophthalmic medical assistants/technicians to join our growing practice. Our ophthalmic medical assistants & technicians perform patient intake by taking medical histories, obtaining patients' visual acuities, and perform diagnostic testing as well as assisting physicians with procedures, among other duties. Our ophthalmic assistants & technicians at State College will work on average 16-40 flexible hours per week. A successful candidate must be able to work whatever shifts we are open in the State College office, which may vary from week to week. The needs of Pennsylvania Retina Specialists must come before other part-time employment.
Successful candidates will be compassionate & possess good communication skills as well as thrive in a fast-paced environment. Strong computer skills and previous experience in a healthcare related fields preferred.

- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
