What are the responsibilities and job description for the Insulation Fabricator position at Pennsylvania Transformer Technology Inc?
Description
Fabricate and assemble various insulation parts used in the manufacturing of power transformers. Use various drawings and instruction sheets issued from the design group to shape, assemble, check for quality and deliver to the required department. Keep work are safe, neat and clean. Operate band saw, panel saw, planer, power shear, slitter, CNC router, sander, drill press, punch press, bending press, scarfing machine, rolls, cranes, forklift, tape measure templates and other various hand and power tools.
Requirements
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, use hands and fingers, hands and arms, feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb ladders; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
