LOCATION : Remote
Position Description Summary
The PT Field Service Crew Leader specializes in power transformers. The FSCL will lead a crew in the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of power transformers at various customer sites. This role requires extensive travel and a commitment to delivering safe exceptional technical support and customer service.
Essential Functions
Team Leadership :
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of field service technicians and resources.
- Assign tasks and ensure they are completed efficiently and accurately.
- Conduct tailboard meetings and safety briefings.
- Oversee the execution of field projects, ensuring safety and timely within-budget completion.
- Coordinate with Field Service Planners, clients, and other stakeholders.
- Prepare and maintain project field documentation and reports.
- Enforce safety policies and procedures, ensuring all work complies with local, industry, and corporate standards.
- Maintain real-time safety inspections and audits.
- Address and resolve any safety incidents or concerns directly with the Filed Service Safety Administrator.
- Serve as the primary expert in the assembly, service, and repair of power transformers.
- Provide technical guidance and support to the team.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
