What are the responsibilities and job description for the Home Staging Coordinator position at Penny + Piper Interiors?
We are looking for a Home Staging Coordinator who is interested in working in a fast-paced and creative industry!
The Home Staging Coordinator is responsible for all staging activities as well as support to the business owners. This role will take place in an ever-changing environment where no two days are alike and without set routines. We continuously seek to incorporate new interior design trends and concepts, so we strongly encourage creative input and suggestions! Attention to detail and having the endurance to be on your feet for long periods of time are key for this role. This role requires traveling to various properties and shopping centers throughout Denver and surrounding areas.
What you’ll do...
- Prepare for all staging installs by planning, selecting, and packing inventory
- Supervise on-site moving team during staging installation and staging removal
- Assist in moving large furniture and hanging artwork
- Restock and organize storage facility when staging items are returned
- Work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Be on your feet for up to 8-10 hours in a day
- Meet with current and future staging clients for pre-staging walkthroughs and consultations
- Develop internal checklists and ensure all necessary items are going to each stage
- Assist with sourcing inventory and materials, both in store and online
- Keep internal project management systems up to date
- Run general errands
- Post, create Instagram Reels, and manage social media
- Organize and track current inventory
- Complete general administrative duties, tasks, and projects as needed
What you’ll need…
- Flexible schedule that allows you to work various hours each week
- Strong knowledge and understanding of Penny Piper Interior’s design aesthetic
- Proficiency and knowledge of Instagram and Facebook
- Understanding of spatial planning and balance
- Creative inclination
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently in order to complete stages in a timely manner
- Excellent communication skills
- Self motivation and ability to multitask
- Your own vehicle, vehicle insurance, and a valid US Driver’s License
- Ability to help move furniture with the capacity to lift up to 50 lbs
- A professional, confident attitude
- Education equivalent to a high school diploma or higher
- No previous design experience is required; however, we will require you to have a strong interest in our design aesthetic. As part of the interview process, we will ask you to complete a project by creating a design mood board.
This is a part-time position, however, hours will vary from week to week. Expect to work 10-30 hours/week. More hours may be required during the busy season (March - early Fall). This role has the potential to turn into a full-time position.
