Ready Mix Truck Operator

Class A or Class B CDL with an air brake endorsement is required to drive a ready mixed concrete truck. Our trucks have manual transmissions so candidates should have some experience and have a CDL qualified with a manual transmission. No prior mixer experience is required. We will train the right candidate. Safely delivering concrete to job sites and keeping the truck clean are the keys to this job. Summary

As a Ready Mix Truck Driver, you will be essential in delivering high-quality concrete to various construction sites, ensuring timely and safe transportation. Reporting to the Site Supervisor, you will utilize your core skills in heavy equipment operation and concrete mixing while adhering to safety regulations. Your premium skills in commercial driving and mechanical knowledge will enhance your performance in operating vehicles like CDL B and CDL A trucks. With relevant experience in loader operation and construction, you will contribute significantly to the success of our projects and maintain strong client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Operate the ready mix truck safely and efficiently to deliver concrete to construction sites.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations.
• Manage the loading of concrete and maintain proper mixing during transit.
• Collaborate with construction teams to coordinate delivery schedules and site requirements.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while operating heavy equipment and navigating construction sites.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and communicate any issues to supervisors.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.50 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 45 – 55 per week
